about
What “Panalogy” means
From pan (“all”) and analogy (“relational structure”) — insight through deep, multi-contextual comparison.
A synthetic term, for a powerful way of thinking.
Panalogy draws together pan (“all”) and analogy (“relational structure”): a method of insight generation through deep, multi-contextual comparison.
It reflects how we work: bridging fields, modelling relationships and building tools that connect systems and people.
Our studio
Panalogy Lab sits between research, applied R&D and venture building.
We develop reusable technology and methods, apply them to real problems and, where a distinctive opportunity emerges, build a focused product, practice or venture around it. Not every experiment needs to become a company; the studio gives ideas room to develop before deciding what they should become.
Where ideas are taking shape
- Industrial AI
- AI, engineering and systems thinking for complex operations. Agent Rung supports control-system reasoning; Icebreaker connects operational knowledge with production intelligence.
- Enterprise & business intelligence
- Connected organisational knowledge, expertise discovery and decision support, alongside bespoke data science and AI adoption work.
- Sport
- Morphological analysis, networks and contextual performance modelling, with emerging work in basketball and wider elite sporting data.
- Entertainment · exploratory R&D
- Computational approaches to music, culture and creative partnerships, exploring how artists, brands and audiences connect.
How ideas move through Panalogy
Research → applied project → repeatable method → technology → product or venture
Not every project follows the full path. Learning from one problem can become reusable capability elsewhere.
